Digital Motion X-Ray

Revolutionizing X-Rays as you know it.

Renfroe Spinal Center | Digital Motion X-Ray ( DMX )

Digital Motion X-ray, or DMX, is a revolutionary x-ray system designed to pinpoint the exact location of injury from car accidents. It is a movement x-ray that is recorded to a DVD, which is then sent to a medical radiologist for interpretation.

Most patients hurt more when they are moving and DMX is designed to explain why. When there is ligament damage from trauma, the spinal vertebrae slip on each other with the movements of your spine. The slippage, which is abnormal, can cause irritation or pinching of the nerve roots, causing pain. When the doctors at Renfroe Spinal Center make a determination that there is ligament damage in your spine, a spinal rehabilitation program is initiated to begin the healing process.
